Indigenous knowledge Assessment of the indigenous knowledge on propagation of baobab, bombax, locust beans, lannea and marula among ethnic groups in Ghana (October 2022). The study took place in thirteen villages. Students and staff of the West African Centre for Water, Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture (WACWISA) under the Climate Resilience of Ecosystem Services (CRES) Project undertook a five-day field visit to the research sites of the project in Ghana. The CRES kick-off workshop was conducted via zoom with participation from Ghana, Burkina Faso and Denmark.

The  project Climate Change Resilience of Ecosystem Services (CRES) started the 1st of April 2021 and will run for the five years. CRES consists of 9 partners from Ghana, Burkina Faso and Denmark, including four universities and five private companies. The project is coordinated by University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana. It is funded by Danida, Denmark (project no A34399).

A CRES kick-off workshop will take digitally in May 2021 with participation of all partners.
